PRO STREET RULES


CHASSIS:  Full factory frame or unibody cars with a minimum wheel base of 108”. Rear clips may be replaced with minimum 2”x3” tubing framing only from center of rear end back. No fabricated tubing-type front clips. 2”x3” tubing can only be used in front of steering box for bumper mounts. Uni-body front clips must be stock from behind first bend up to in front of steering box. Lower a-frames stock type only. One shock per wheel(No adjustable or coil over).

ROLL CAGE:  All cars required to have a full cage made of minimum 1.5 x .095 round tubing. Min. 3 door bars. Racing seats & belts mandatory.

BODIES:  Steel or aluminum bodies allowed. Fiberglass roofs OK, Stock type nosepiece OK. Late model type bodies will add 100lbs

REAR END:  Factory OEM type. 9” Ford or floater type OK. Quick change rears add 50 lbs. Mounting point MUST remain in stock location. NO springs in third link. NO torque arms or lift bars. Solid link or rubber mounted third link only. Top link shock OK. Jack bolts OK.

ENGINES:  OEM steel block NO dry-sump. NO roller cam. Headers & MSD allowed.

HEADS:  Steel only. Stud girdles & roller rocker arms OK No shaft-type.

TRANSMISSIONS:  OEM transmissions, (Bert and Brinn Ok add 250 LBS ). Racing clutch allowed. If using racing clutch, aluminum bell housing allowed. If using factory (OEM type clutch, must run steel bell housing with inspection hole). Driveshaft must be steel/ white with 2 loops.

CARBURETORS/FUEL:  Any gas only carb with spacer OK. Shut off MUST be in reach of driver. NO electric fuel pumps. Fuel cell is mandatory.

TIRES/WHEEL:  Any 60 durometer tires. 10” Max steel wheel. Bead lock OK. Must have 1” lugs.

BRAKES:  Aftermarket allowed, but calipers must be stock OEM.

WEIGHT:  Minimum 2750lbs. (L. M. type body) add 100lbs.
Quick Change add 50 lbs
Bert or Brinn type Add 250 LBS.)

PROTEST:  Head buy rule ($750) or (**Visual $100 after heats only Track retains all** )
All protest must be filed with TECH @ scales immediately following race.

Race track has the right to make changes and let a car race 1st.
