Lowe Picks Up First Win of the Year

Crossville, TN (August 16, 2014) - After a rain out the week before,
Crossville Raceway was back in action on Saturday. All classes were
in action, and the good crowd on hand was witness to some really good
racing excitement.



The Street Stock class saw #31B Willie Busler win his first feature
of the year at the track, as he led from flag-to-flag. Point leader, #84T
Justin Turner, finished sixth to keep his lead at 33 points ahead of second
place. Busler and #J7 Jay Young won the heat races. The complete finishing
order is below:

#T91 Tim Adams won the heat race and his first feature of the year
in the Stock Truck class. Adams held off #46 Cody Rector in the early stages
of the race, until Rector began having motor problems. The complete results

In the Dwarf class, #15 Larry Garrison and #15 Mike Wood won the heat
races. In the feature, Woods battled it out with #65 Joseph Underwood for the
entire race, but in the end it was Woods winning his second feature of
the year. The complete finishing order is below:

The Jr. Hornet class saw #LJ14 Lukas Presley win his fourth feature win
of the year. #17 Carlie Mullinax won the heat race. The complete results are

#0 Micah Collins won his second feature of the year in the Mod Lite
class. Collins had a race long battle with #3K Tony Kelly and #23 Randy Fly,
until finally taking control late in the race. Tony Kelly and Collins won the
heat races. The complete results are below:

In the Outlaw Dwarf class, #13 Jim Meadows took the lead on lap 6, and
held on for his second straight win in the class. #22 Jonathan Allen won the
heat race. The complete finishing order is below:

A couple of 8's battled all race long in the Legend class. In the end it
was #8 Jacob Owens winning his first feature of the year at the track in front
of #08 Josh Fitzgerald. Josh Fitzgerald won the heat race. The complete

In the Hornet class, #1 Jacob Sharp and #C4 Eddie Brown won the heat
races. In the feature, Brown grabbed the lead at the start and never let up,
as he cruised to his second win of the year and he also padded his point lead.

#24D Doug Gordon won his first ever feature on Saturday night in the
Sportsman class. The finishing order is below:

The Late Model portion of the night started with #5J Jesse Lowe setting
fast time in qualifying with a time of 13.43. Two heat races were ran and the
winners were Lowe and #90 Mark Martin. The feature started with Martin
powering into the lead ahead of Lowe. Lowe stayed within an arms length
from Martin, as both drivers were pulling away from the rest of the field.
Martin's night would come to an end however on lap 19, as he got tangled
up with slower traffic. This gave the lead to Lowe, who lead the remaining
6 laps for his first win of the year. The complete feature results are below:

The will be NO racing next week (8/23) at Crossville Raceway. On August
29-30, Crossville will hold the Legends Shootout. On Friday August 29, there
will be an open practice for all classes. Tier parking will be open at the
track for anyone who wants to watch the practice. The admission to tier
parking on that night is FREE. On Saturday August 30, all classes will be
in action, with the headliner being the Legends Shootout...$2,500 to the winner
and a $17,000 purse. Other contingencies will be up for grabs in the Legends
race. Don't forget, all of Crossville's classes will be in action on the
