Brockhouse Wins the Legends Shootout

Crossville, TN (October 4, 2014) - Well another season is in the books.
We would like to thank all the fans and drivers who came and enjoyed our
great facilities this year. The 2014 Legends Shootout was a success and the
2014 Season Points Champs were awarded their trophies. Keep checking our
website throughout the off season for news about the 2015 season.



In the Street Stock class, Crossville's #84T Shane Turner and Mt. Juliet's
#7 Jason Savage won the heat races to set themselves up on the front row
of the feature. Savage jumped into the early lead at the start. On lap 5 #31 Jeff Proffitt moved past Turner for third, with #27 Dwayne Fox running in second.
Four cautions slowed the race, and on each restart Savage took off and left
the field. Savage would cross the stripe first for his 5th win of the year.
The 2014 points champion was Justin Turner. The complete results are below:

The Stock Truck class saw Crossville's #5 Dan Tarantino take the checkers
for the second week in a row ahead of #25 Clyde Britt. Britt won the heat
race. The complete results are below:

In Jr. Hornet action, it was Crossville's #H95 Hunter Withers winning his
6th feature win of the year, over #5K Kealy Lowe and #55 Alex Woody. Withers
won the heat race. The 2014 points champion is Colton Akins. The complete

The Outlaw Dwarf feature started with Sparta's #00 Ron Dodson jump into
the early lead. On lap 11 Gainesboro's #7 Shaun Thomas took over the lead from
Dodson. #65 Joseph Underwood took over second on lap 16. Thomas led the way
for the win, it was Thomas' 3rd win of the season. Dodson and Thomas won
the heat races. Joseph Underwood was the 2014 Dwarf points championship. The

A special non-qualifiers race was ran for cars that didn't make the Legends
Shootout feature out of the B-Main. Fayetteville, GA driver #58 John Ponzio
took the top prize of $500 for the win. The complete results are below:

The 2014 Legends Shootout started with Cleveland, TN driver, #7 Zack
Dunsmore set fast time with a lap of 15.94. Three heat races were ran and
the were won by Dunsmore, Crossville's #08 Josh Fitzgerald, and Griffin, GA
driver #77 Doug Stevens. Dunsmore grabbed the lead at the start of the
feature. That lead would be short lived however, as Littlestown, PA'a #51
Travis McClelland took the lead a lap later. Cars were fighting for
positions lap after lap, and this made this a very exciting race. On lap
19, Shakopee, MN's #13 Tim Brockhouse took over the lead for good, as he lead
the remaining 16 laps for the $2,500 win. The complete results are below:

In the Hornet class, Crossville's #1 Jacob Sharp came from his third row
starting position to dominate the race for the second week in a row, and
win his 5th feature of the year. #15 Adam Stone and #717 Amelia McClain would
win the heat races. The 2014 points champion is Eddie Brown. The complete

The Sportsman feature saw the 2014 Points Champion, Allardt's #24D Doug
Gordon win his 3rd race of the year over #122 Jeremy Shannon. Shannon won

In the Late Model class, Crossville's #5J Jesse Lowe set fast time in
qualifying with a lap of 13.29. It was his 3rd fast time award of the
season. In the heat races, Baxter's #90 Mark Martin and Friendsville's #44
Mike Weeks took the wins. The feature saw Martin run and hide, as he won
his 9th feature of the year ahead of Weeks and Lowe. Martin is the 2014 points
