2010 - STREET STOCK RULES

1. BODY:     American rear wheel drive only. Steel or aluminum stock style bodies. Stock type top may make rest but Must look like car you are claiming. Min wheel base 108 inches.6 inch spoiler no wider than deck lid. Must have stock fire wall & floor pan under the drivers seat. Firewall may be cut for clearance only. All glass and plastics must be removed.



2. ROLL CAGE:     Cage must have six points welded to frame. Minimum of three drivers door bars and three bars in passengers door. Must have four windshield bars



3. SUSPENSION / STEERING:     Components must be in stock location. 1non adjustable stock type shock per wheel. May run aftermarket upper control arm in original position. Sliders & adjustable spring buckets or weight jacks ok. Remainder of suspension stock.



4. REAR END:     Any O.E.M. Disc brake with steel calipers ok. Panhard bar ok. Top link must be solid. No J-bars, pull or lift bars.



5. TRANSMISSION:     Automatic or straight shift. Automatic must have working converter. No valve pedals. Straight shift must run stock type steel clutch and flywheel 40lbs minimum. Any other clutch add 100 pounds Must have two inch hole in bell housing for inspection.



6. FUEL:     Gas - Top pick-up fuel cell mandatory with at least (2) 2” by 1/8” steel straps.
   No electrical fuel pumps. (Holley 650 vacuum secondary. No double pumpers )
   Quadrajet * or Holley 500 cfm 2 barrel. Choke flat may be removed. No grinding, or polishing.



7. IGNITION:     Stock type, H.E.I. or points type. No MSD type boxes.



8. WEIGHT:     Minimum of 3200 lb. Vortex heads add 100 lbs



9. WHEELS:     Steel only. 8 or 10 inches wide max. Bead locks ok.



10. TIRES:     AR 10.5 EC2



11. OPTIONAL TIRES:     AR 245/70 SW 8” 200 lb wgt. Break



12. ENGINE:     Steel 362 CI max. , no bowtie. MAY BALANCE, NO POLISHING anywhere. Any oil pan, stock type pump, headers & bolts. No windage trays.



13. INTAKE:     Dual plane or O.E.M. cast iron. No modifications. or Edelbrock : Chevrolet#2101 Vortec # 2116 Mopar- #2176 Ford- 302 #2121, 351W #2181, 351C 2b #2750, 351C 4b #2665 (Other versions of a performer may be used. Must be ok’d by tech.)



14. HEADS:     OEM cast iron only. No modifications except cut for screw in studs & guide plates. Stock size valves for head No titanium. Any valve spring. Vortex add 100 lbs



15. CAM:     Any hydraulic. No roller or mushroom lifters.



16. PISTON:     Flat top only, no forged, floating pin ok. piston cannot protrude above block deck



17. CRANK:     Stock OEM or stock replacement for block 50 lb min. NO crank scrapers.



18. RODS:     Stock type steel I beam only. stock length for engine you are claiming. No cap screws



19. PROTEST:     Track retains 30 % of protest. You can only protest the car in front of you.
    $350 to pull one head. (cam, carb, intake, bore, & stroke)
    $400 for bottom rods, bore, & stroke)
    $50 per visual tech retains all
    CAR MAY BE IMPOUNDED FOR 2 days
    
    MUST HAVE TOW HOOKS FRONT & REAR
    
    TRACK MAY MAKE ADJUSTMENTS TO EVEN COMPLETION OR LET CAR RACE 1 TIME
